Be part of our client’s team as a Junior Compensation Analyst, where you ensure accurate processing of commissions, track and reconcile statements and deposits, update workflows, coordinate with sales and internal teams, analyze data for discrepancies, and support management with documentation and special projects, contributing to seamless global operations.

Your Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Mathematics or Data Science with 2 years of related experience; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Strong technical skills in Excel, including VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and IF formulas; familiarity with running, recording, or writing macros is a plus
  • Highly motivated, curious, and resourceful problem solver
  • Diligent, with strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow established processes and instructions accurately
  • Excellent communication skills with strong business writing abilities
  • Analytical team player with the ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately
  • Thrives in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering accurate results
  • Keen interest in learning and fostering an environment built on diversity of thought
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Knowledge of the healthcare, life insurance, or energy industries is a plus

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify incoming commissions documents to ensure proper tagging and release to the broader commissions team for processing
  • Match statements and deposits of assignments
  • Update workflow status to reflect current step and status
  • Evaluate status for appropriate next steps and act accordingly, including outreach to carriers, brokers, or internal teams
  • Communicate and coordinate producer changes or updates with sales teams and internal business partners
  • Analyze reports to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy
  • Work directly with management and team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of assignments
  • Answer key questions by analyzing data from statements or cross-functional inquiries
  • Assist the Commissions Manager with documentation, coordination, and special projects as needed
